It's been a wild year, and it's time to celebrate! Brides, future brides, and anyone interested in learning how to create a stunning bridal bouquet, bring your friends and join us for an evening in the flower field at Five Acres!
On Sunday, August 22nd, from 6-8pm, Sumeuy from Lam's Ear Floral and Amanda from Five Acres will host an intimate and educational workshop in our acre of fields in full bloom. Sumeuy is a certified floral designer and wedding specialist, and Amanda is a flower farmer specializing in carefully curated dahlias and specialty blooms. Amanda will speak a little about the flowers she grows and how to harvest them, and then you'll be free to wander the fields at golden hour and pick whatever you'd like (really!) for your bouquet. Sumuey will then guide you through creating your gorgeous bridal bouquet. You'll leave with your bouquet and the skills to recreate it in the future.
You can view a video featuring one of our workshops here.
All covid protocols will be in place. Workshops are outdoors in our acre of fields where there's plenty of room to spread out. Should provincial health guidelines prevent our outdoor workshops this summer, a full refund will be provided.
We also have a large covered outdoor area in case of a little rain, but will reschedule workshops if the weather is prohibitive.
Ticket is for one, and includes all supplies and nonalcoholic beverages to enjoy while you're here.
Cannot wait to welcome you to experience the flower farm in full bloom!
