This is a single admission to join an educational and interactive workshop at the farm in Abbotsford on Saturday October 23rd 2021, from noon - 3 pm. Learn step-by-step how flower farmer and dahlia specialist Amanda preps, plants, cares for, digs, divides, and stores the specialty dahlia tubers she grows here at Five Acres. You will leave with the hands-on experience to grow the dahlia garden of your dreams, as well as a gift pack containing Amanda's top 5 dahlia tuber varieties (approximately $75 value) to bring home, store for the winter, and plant next spring.
Health protocols will be in place. Workshops are outdoors in our acre of fields where there's plenty of room to spread out. At this time we are not mandated to ask for vaccine passports as we are an outdoor facility. Should provincial health guidelines prevent our outdoor workshops, a full refund will be provided.
We have a large covered outdoor area in case of rain. Please prepare for autumn weather - bring an umbrella, a warm raincoat, and boots as you will be outside in our flower farm and the ground is often wet and muddy at this time of year. We will be working with muddy plants and tubers so dress accordingly. This is a rain-or-shine event. Workshops will not be rescheduled or refunded in case of rain.
Cannot wait to welcome you to learn here at the farm!
